Purchased the 36l version, fits under the seat on Ryanair but if you over pack this bag won't fit in their sizer. Have purchased 32l Adv for carry on luggage as the 28l version is too small for my needs.

Update: I’m taking off another star now that I see how deceptive the advertising is for this pack. As i figured at first glance, this is too small and matches the size of my Goruck 26 liter. I bought it because i wanted a bigger pack! I didn’t want two packs of the same size. What’s the point if the capacity is roughly the same?
Another star was removed due to the cost I would incur shipping this back and the three-week shipping process for it to get to my door.
The one plus: very lightweight with minimal pockets and inserts so you can jam it thick with packing cubes.
That said, I definitely prefer the so-called “bombproof” laptop sleeve seperated securely from the packs on my various Goruck bags, as well as room for a kydex frame sheet to be installed. I added that to all my Gorucks. This one has no frame sheet or designated place for such.

My girlfriend and I were looking for the ideal backpack for our first holiday when we stumbled upon the CabinZero Military 36L. This backpack really surprised us with its durability. We traveled with it by plane, train, and car. We walked through Slovenia’s nature, as well as through Budapest and Milan. We were very satisfied, and we are now planning to buy the 28L Classic Tech version for work and short trips.

I was searching for a backpack which will suit my needs for traveling and hiking. CabinZero Military 36l is the best backpack what I have found that suits my needs. This backpack is comfortable for longer hikes. I love the straps for body nad waist and place for laptop.
It traveled with me through Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia. I'm looking forward to go for Lanzarote this year and I'm going to buy 28l version of this backpack too.

I bought military backpack 36l and I love it. Color is nice, it has plenty of space, padded shoulder straps, two handles for easy carrying and expandable bottle pocket. I can't wait for my next adventure. Recommended

At first I bought 36L Green...I can't sleep. So I bought 44L Cayote...also can't sleep...so I bought 28L Black....now I'm sleep well! Love these bags due to Cordura 1000D fabric, back padding & padded shoulder straps.

The bag is sturdy, reasonably light, and comfortable to wear thanks to the waist and sternum straps. The sternum strap's height can be adjusted on the chest, which is a plus. The padding against the back feels good as well.
The handles and shoulder straps are wide, sturdy, and comfortable; the zippers seem good quality too.
I am not very tall (1m57/5ft2) and I wasn't sure it would fit or be the right size for me, but I've had no problems.
The compression straps are useful, and i really like the added security of the Okoban tag.
The side pocket for a water bottle is convenient with no risk of the bottle falling off; it will fit a lot of bottles although perhaps not a really wide one.
There is no specific padding inside for a laptop, but there's the back padding on one side and your clothes in the other, so even without a sleeve it doesn't feel like there's any particular risk of damage.
I've used this bag both as my one bag for a few days' trip, and for extra cabin luggage that i could slide under the seat in front of me without issue. It can also fit in overhead racks in planes or trains.
Packing cubes are a must to make the most of this bag. There are few pockets, but I feel packing cubes are more convenient for my needs. Those available are great for easy access to papers, charging cables, earbuds, and a book or magazine can easily fit in the front one :-)
The only thing that would make it even better in my eyes would be a way to tuck in or cover the straps when using the handles or storing the bag; I bought a larger ADV pro bag with that option.
I also enjoy the overall look of the bag!

Good looking, solid backpack fitting more or less most of low cost airlines hand/cabin bag. Square shape ensure a lot more space compared to other classic backpacks. Truly water repellent. Straps for shoulders and hips could be bigger and more comfy for the price.

I got this backpack to use for weekend travel and to wear around the city. I love its size, color and quality. The only thing I’d change is make the outside bottle pocket a little bigger as in only fits skinnier bottles.

Taken this on two trips now. It was all I needed for a week in Madrid and has also just served me well as a casual light-weight over the shoulder weekend bag. It swallows everything, it's easy to pack and unpack and to rummage around in with its big opening and its simplicity, it looks great, and it feels really good quality. This will be my constant travel companion.

I have quite a few CZ bags, and love them. I wanted a 36 L bag with a bottle holder, so thought I’d try the military backpack.
It’s a nice bag, similar to the classic, but I cannot fit any water bottles in the holder, so it is not what I want.
The returns process is not obvious or straightforward, as it is with other online companies. I had to email the company for instructions, and did not receive labels or pre-paid postage.
This is all disappointing, as I have previously been very happy with this company.

Great size for people over 6'. Water bottle holder is a great addition but is very small. I have a 750ml bottle and it's a very tight fit. I wish there was molle on the inside and a little more structure to the entire bag. It tends to just flop over

The backpack is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, is sturdy, quite stylish. This is my second military backpack from CabinZero, and I absolutely love it! Also, it is a great value for money.

I needed a one-bag travel solution when flying lowcost airlines. Even though the 36 L version is slightly larger than some airlines allow, I was let it to Ryanair and Wizzair planes without a problem. Fits under the seat, just store it sideways.
Otherwise the backpack is above average. I like the material and the looks. The carry harness is also above average. There is not much internal organization. No padding for a laptop compartment. No quick access small pocket for personal items. Water bottle pocket is almost unusable.
The backpack has great spacious rectangular profile. You will fit a lot of clothes, shoes, laptop, charger, camera for a week long trip and can fly lowcost airline. I recommend it for this kind of hauling, not so much for using at final destination as a daypack.

I used the Military Backpack on my trip to Europe and I was very impressed and loved the ease of using my backpack every day. Lots of room for my packing cubes. I was able to fit all my items. Great buy.

I usually go to the gym after work so I wanted a daily pack big enough to carry all my gear for both work and the gym.
The 36L does the job!
I cycle to work too so a comfy back padding is important for me. And this bag is absolutely comfortable.
I've backpacked across Europe a few times and I dummy packed this bag to simulate if it would work well for me, and I can't wait to actually use it for my next trip. I'm more than confident I can comfortably fit two weeks worth of travel gear in this.
It's spacious but using packing cubes would be the wiser option to maximise the space.
The material is not waterproof, but after cycling through the rain without a cover, I found it to be highly water-resistant. Not a single drop of water went inside.
I'd recommend this backpack any day. If you only want to use it for daily work, I'm pretty sure the 28L is a good enough size. Even the 36L doesn't feel too large so I can imagine what the 28 would feel like...super comfy!
