Overview of Iberia Airlines
Iberia Airlines is Spain's national carrier and the country's largest airline, with headquarters in Madrid. Iberia Airlines Baggage Allowance Policy
Originally, Iberia's flying service was limited to flights inside Spain (including service to the resort of Majorca). However, beginning in 1946, Iberia established lines to London and Latin America, and eventually expanded the routes to include numerous destinations in Europe, Africa, and North and South America.

Iberia Airlines allows travellers to bring one piece of hand luggage as well as one personal item such as a wallet or briefcase on board. (Assistive gadgets and outerwear do not count toward the carry-on luggage allowance.)
Baggage must fit in the overhead bin or beneath the front seat. Hand baggage cannot exceed 10kg in weight or 115cm in length.

Checked luggage allowance for short-haul flights is as follows:

The allowance for long-haul flights to/from the United States is as follows:
- Discount 1 piece of free luggage in Economy Class (international flights).

For flights to/from Africa and the Middle East:
- Economy class travellers can check one piece of luggage, while business class passengers can check two pieces of luggage.
- All checked luggage goods are limited to a maximum standard weight of 23kg to 32kg, depending on ticket class; 3-dimensional dimensions must not exceed 158cm/piece.
